Who is Keira Knightley:
Born in Teddington, Middlesex and raised in Richmond with her brother Caleb, Keira Knightley started her acting career at the age of 7. Even though Keira Knightley suffers from dyslexia, this in no way stopped her persuing her dream of acting.

Keira Knightley appeared in a number of television bit parts from a young age and got her big break in 1999 when she was cast as Sabe, the decoy queen in ‘Star Wars Episode I’. Keira was chosen because of the uncanny resemblance to actress Natalie Portman who plays the real queen.

And in 2001, Keira Knightley played daughter of Robin Hood in a made-for-television Walt Disney feature film, Princess of Thieves. In the same year she also acted in film ‘The Hole’ and was in the mini-series adaption Doctor Zhivago.
