Who is Evangeline Lilly:

Born in Albeta, Canada into a Christian family, Evangeline Lilly was spotted by a Ford Modeling agent while she was walking

down the street. Evangeline had no interest in modeling, but signed up to the acting department of Ford Models.

Evangeline Lilly appeared in numerous commercials and acted in some non-verbal scenes in films, and her big break came in 2004 when she was cast as Kate in the popular TV series ‘Lost’.

Evangline has used her celebrity status to raise awareness for ‘Just Yell Fire’, a video aimed at teaching teenage girls how to defend themselves against rapists.

Towards the end of 2006,Evangeline Lilly’s house in Kailua, Hawaii was completely devastated by fire while she was filming ‘Lost’, with one of her two roommates, both of whom work as her stand-ins on the show. Evangeline’s second roommate was luckily off-island at the time of the blaze. The fire has now been declared as an electrical fault.
