Who is Angelina Jolie:

Born in Los Angeles California, Angelina Jolie and her brother James Haven were brought up by their mother in Palisades, New York.

The family moved back to Los Angeles when Angelina aged 11, decided she wanted to act and enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, where she trained for two years.
Angelina found this stage difficult as she was teased for her poor attire and braces.

So at 14 years old, Angelina signed with Finesse Model Management and appeared in many music videos for artists such as Meat Loaf and Lenny Kravitz and photos.

But with acting in her heart she returned to the stage and appeared in five of her brothers low-budget student films. And then in 1993, Angelina played her first leading role in the low budget film Cyborg 2.

Two years later Angelina starred in the 1995 film “Hackers” and met her first husband Jonny Lee Miller.

Angelina appeared in numerous films inbetween 1995 and 2001. Divorced her husband, got accused of an incestuous relationship with her brother,and eloped with husband number 2, Billy Bob Thornton. But after they adopted a Cambodian boy named Maddox Chivan Thornton Jolie in 2002, their marriage fell apart and they filed for divorce. While it lasted, their sexually charged marriage was the subject a favourite topic for the tabloids as the eccentric couple carried vials of each other’s blood around their necks and were not shy to public displays of affection.

While filming Tomb Raider, Angelina first became personally aware of worldwide humanitarian crises as they filmed in poverty-stricken and widely mined Cambodia.
After Angelina’s tireless efforts raising awareness and missions, the UNHCR (Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees) where impressed by Angelina’s interest and devotion in the subject, and named her a Goodwill Ambassador on August 27, 2001.

Angelina in 2005 was involved in a widely reported Hollywood scandal when she was accused of being the “other woman” in the divorce of actors Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Rumour’s state that Angelina had started an affair during filming of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” but both Angelina and Brad Pitt has denied this in several interviews.

But the following summer, Brad and Angelina were seen together with increasing frequency and the media considered them a couple, dubbing them “Brangelina”.
And in January 2006, Angelina confirmed to People that she was pregnant with Brad’s child and thereby confirmed their relationship for the first time in public.

It was later confirmed that Brad had legally adopted Jolie’s two children, and the children’s legal surnames were formally changed to “Jolie-Pitt”and May 27, 2006, Jolie gave birth to a daughter named Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.
