Pete Doherty Plays Tribute At Wake

Pub manager Lynette Gale told the Daily Mirror.

‘He was here for around an hour and a half,’
‘He said that he wanted to come up to pay tribute. It was a lovely gesture and made it all special.’

Pete Doherty surprised the mourners at Daniel Squires wake on Monday (14th) when he got up to play a tribute to the deceased.

Daniel Squires (Age 16)  met Pete Doherty at a gig, and was suffering with bone cancer. Unfortunately, Daniel died on July 4th.

Doherty turned up to the wake and paid his respects to the fan and as a spare of the moment thing. He stood  with one of Daniels friends and stepped forward for the perfomance at the South Shields pub “The Golden Lion”.

  1. This is sad story, though impressed by celebrity. Some celebrities out for nightlife and party (I am in Miami limo service, hire driver, chauffeur.) I see lots of famous, won’t drop names since want I to be private driver. Limousine service in Miami has been good. I love Miami! Thanks.
