Banned from Oktoberfest Beer Festival, Paris ‘cheapens’ the event

After reading this post by SAWF. I was amused that they found Paris Hilton to cheapen an event. She’s usually the first one with her cup out waiting to see what deal she can arrange or how it will benefit her socialite status.

But not for this years Oktoberfest held in Germany. Last year the locals named the event ‘Shabby’ as Paris was trying to promote a new canned type of wine whilst wearing her hair in plaits and dressed in a traditional Bavarian dress. (Kind of a nice touch for Paris.)

The tourism chief for Munich (Gabriele Weishaeupl) said that celebrity promotions : “are completely prohibited by the new festival rules this year”

At least thats one event that Paris won’t be attending this year. Shame there won’t be more.
