Amy Winehouse defends husband to Perez Hilton

Singing sensation Amy Winehouse has defended husband Blake to gossip blogger Perez Hilton of PerezHilton.com following a post on his website that suggested her husband had badly attacked her.

Amy denied Blake was the cause of the argument, despite being seen with bandages covering her arm, blood splattered shoes and a gashed knee.

In a series of texts between the Rehab singer and the celebrity blogger, Winehouse claims that not only is Blake “not a loser husband” but that he infact, saved her life.

Amy told Perez: “Blake is the best man in the world. We would never ever harm each other… I was cutting myself after he found me in our room about to do drugs with a call girl and rightly said I wasn’t good enough for him. I lost it and he saved my life.”

Seen later taking a walk together, Amy and husband Blake Fielder-Civil had clearly made up as they put on a public display of affection in Soho during the early hours of yesterday.

Via text, Amy also added, “Ill be alright. I need to fight my man’s corner for him though.”
