Does Celebrity Big Brother really want Paris Hilton

Although i can be funny at times (Honestly its true i can!) This is just one of those things i wouldn’t dream of joking about.  Its bad enough that paris isn;t talented at all and they the only few things that shot her into stardom were a green sextape,going to jail and her family mega rich.

Does she really class as a celebrity for our UK screens?

Hollywood hookup along with 24dash have both published articles about how she just might be appearing on our screens. Yes here in the UK.

That means if she is chosen as one of the select few to disgrace our screens, all we’re gunna hear is “Thats so hot”.

A Channel 4 insider released info regarding Paris’ appearance:

     “Paris is really keen to do the show because she wants to show people the real her.

“She wants to show the British public that there is more to her life than shopping and partying and she would certainly make an interesting housemate.

“It all depends on whether or not we can afford her.”

Well if she wants to show people the real her. Shouldn’t she be doing the show for free? Why does it depend on if they can afford her? Its hardly to show the world the real her if its gunna take a huge fee to get her into the house is it?

And even if she does go into the house. The show is so censored all we’re gunna see is the house garden or the ceiling of the house. Anything interested will be censored like it always is.

Another thought pops into mind as well. Celebrity Big Brother is usually filled with celerities that have gone past their sell by date. (Like they either need more exposure to further their career, or their career is over and they are trying desperately to make a come back). Which one of those is Paris? She’s not poor or going to be poor anytime soon. And she’s in the media more than the word media.

If you ask me (Which nobody did, but i have an opinion anyway) its more of an attempt to rescue the show after the huge row between Jade and Shilpa Shetty in this years celebrity big brother which saw the largest number of complaints ever for the show.

They certainly need to pull something big off. And getting Paris in there will just do the job. Or will it?
