Druggie Pete Doherty dodges jail….AGAIN

A judge has given drug-loving Pete Doherty yet another chance to get clean because he looked better than his previous appearance despite his drugs test showing positive.

Pete was warned last month when he admitted to driving illegally while in possession of crack, heroin and ketamine’s, that he would go to prison for the offences if he did not successfully complete a rehab programme.

But the Judge Davinder Lacher said:

“I see that he did not actually do the detox until the end of the month. It’s early days, to put it mildly. He has been tested and it’s positive - perhaps not surprising at this early stage.  What I have in mind is to adjourn the matter for four weeks to assess his motivation. What I have in mind is a community order or prison. If he does not show his motivation it’s prison, as simple as that.”

So let me get this straight. The judge gave him another chance because he had a wash and brushed his hair?

If a mosquito bit the BabyShambles front-man, it would die of a huge drug overdose. It’s not that I’m particularly bothered when celebrities take drugs.

But if it was a normal non-famous person going through the same case, his ass wouldn’t even have had time to take a seat. Straight to jail he’d go. The Justice system protecting celebrities as usual.

Pete goes back to court 4th September this year. Do you think he’ll be clean?
