Daniel Radcliffe in My Boy Jack
Daniel Radcliffe, the Harry Potter star will be appearing in his first Television lead in a one-off World War 1 drama called My Boy Jack.
Daniel Radcliffe will play the son of Rudyard Kipling. The story is about the tragic loss of his 17 year old son in the Battle of Loos 1915, and the search to find his body.
Daniel who has always been interested in the First World War told Variety magazine:
“For many people my age, the First World War is just a topic in a history book. But I’ve always been fascinated by the subject and think it’s as relevant today as it ever was, with young men still sacrificing their lives in the name of war.”
My Boy Jack will be on ITV1 in autumn this year.
