Amy won’t be missing any more gigs.

Amy Winehouse has said how she won;t be missing any more of her scheduled gigs after having harsh words from her Father.
Her Dad was less than impressed after Amy pulled the plug on gigs across the country over the last few months. With her rep saying it was due to exhaustion. But fans and critics alike had seen Amy drinking in clubs until the early hours the very night before the big performances.

Gigs that saw Amy pull out of at the last minute include, Scotland’s T in the Park festival, Liverpools Summer Pops Concert and a show at Shepherds Bush Empire in London.

Amy defended herself and her career when she spoke to the Daily Mail (After of course had Dad had spoken to her.) Saying:

“I still get the odd rollocking from my dad. In fact, he sat me down the other day and gave me a talking to about missing gigs.”

“I got in trouble but I am not gonna do that any more!”

“I don’t ever want to miss a gig but sometimes I just don’t feel I’m up to it.”

“I know it’s last minute and it’s really irresponsible but I’m a bit of a perfectionist and I’d rather reschedule a show than do it half-heartedly.” 

So its not because she hates letting her fans down. Instead its because her Daddy was unhappy with her.  I’d of thought it wold of been better to say that she didn’t want to miss any more gigs because it was letting her fans down.

SO if your planning on seeing Amy live at her next concert. You can be safe in the knowledge that she will show up and she will play. Not that it might be a waste of your time and money.
