Brad Pitt

New owners of a winery, Brangelina.

A view of Brangelinas new winery in the South of FranceIn the couples never ending quest for time away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi. Brangelina have been throwing around decisions on where to buy their next family home and getaway retreat.

Previously they’ve looked at properties here in the UK, as well as other popular places in Europe. But with the help of Ecorazzi we’ve tracked down their latest property investment.

If your expecting a cottage or private retreat in a busy commercial center then you couldn’t of been more wrong! Instead the super popular power couple have opted for an eco friendly winery in the south of France somewhere.

The estate where Brangelina will be getting to know as their second home can be seen in the photo above, and all other info can be found at the website of the Chateau Val Joanis .

From this page it reads:

“At Val Joanis, we are a family, and we are determined to preserve our ancestral values, adapting them to modern techniques provided these do not conflict with nature. We are concerned to protect our environment and to leave more to future generations than we ourselves received. Because we respect our land, we strive to improve it by our methods of cultivation. We accept that our yields are well below the general average. So we practise a sustainable system of agriculture, rejecting any kind of chemical manuring. Mineral fertilizers are not used, and in their place we apply organic supplements of vegetable origin.”

The Chateau is so old, even the Romans got their wine from there! Now thats an old winery.

Don’t expect to see Brad or Angelina picking grapes or doing any of the manual work. No doubt hired help will take control of the actual wine making.  But Brangelina will of course be testing all the wine thats produced there. I can almost smell the wine now and imagine the hiccups echoing across the valley.
