More troubles for Pete Doherty
Not only did the troubled rocker lose his super model girlfriend Kate Moss, Pete has also lost the close relationship he had with his mum Jacqueline.
Pete Doherty is feeling very hurt and betrayed after he found out about the biography she wrote hit bookshelves across the UK.
Pete spoke to newspaper The Mirror recently and said:
“Me and mum are not on speaking terms after she wrote a book about me. It kills me. I love her but things are very strained and difficult just now.
I felt a bit betrayed, to be honest, about what she did. We have a lot of issues to sit down and sort through. I’m an emotional guy and just talking about it is difficult.
I always end up weeping when I’m on this subject.â€
Pete also spoke about his troubled relationship with his father, and doesn’t think badly of him for disowning Pete:
“I can understand him turning his back on me after everything I’ve done.
Whatever has happened in the past, I love and respect my father unconditionally. He doesn’t want anything to do with me just now, but it’s important for me that he knows I truly adore him.
Knowing how he feels, and battling to restore some sort of relationship with him, is the one thing I’m trying to focus on as I try to kick the drugs. If I can do it, a lot of it will be down to him; proving him wrong and winning him around so I have a family again.â€
We reported that Pete begged Kate Moss to take him back, but unfortunately for him, Kate took the interview badly.
According to an anonymous source speaking to the Mail they said:
“Kate lost all control - flew into a rage. Pete had given Kate lyrics for a song written in blood when they were together. She had it framed.
Yesterday she smashed the picture, ripped the lyrics up and threw them in the bin. She was so upset that she mentioned something so personal as singing ‘Moon River’ on an phone message.”
Its not looking good for Pete Doherty these days.
