If you didn’t believe Paris Hilton when she said she was going to do some charity work. Then think again. She’s stepping up to the plate as it were to keep her end of the bargain.
The group that have the misfortune of working with her are people helping children with spinal cord injuries. One things for sure, she’ll help the profile of the group and if the fund raising doesn’t go well. She can always fund the project herself (Wouldn’t make a bad tax write off).
She’s doing well in the project by all accounts. She’s bid and $17,500 sufring lessons with Jesse Billauer and Adam Sandler. Jessebeen paralyzed himself appreciates Hiltons efforts and support as he used to be a world class surfer.
She tells people mag:
“It’s a great organization. It gives people hope and I’m really happy to be here to support Jesse,†Â
She didn’t just stop at the spinal cord charity work though. She even went and visited sick kids at a local cancer ward. Bringing hope to them and cheering up their day!
She adds:
“I was just at the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital visiting all of the kids and premature babies in the cancer ward. I met with philanthropists and they’re doing a summit with five major charities and we’ll be doing stuff all over the world. I’m excited,â€
So for once, Paris kept her word and is doing good things with other good people in the world. Makes a change from seeing her partying her ass off in a club somewhere. Honestly. I myself am quite impressed with this great step towards a better life for others. Rather than a simpler life for Paris.
