Paris Hilton weeps for the state of America

Dateline hollywood had an exclusive interview with Paris Hilton (They claim) which when i read it i found funny.

In the interview Paris makes it clear that she doesn’t like Bosh and Pecks Posh and Becks, and wonders what they are even famous for. Well David is great football (or as the USA calls it Soccer) Where as Posh. Well she’s married to him and thats about it. She has no talent(Alot like Paris really).

In the interview Paris says:

 “The media is fawning like they’re superstars, but they haven’t actually done anything,”

“Can anyone explain why I should care about these people?”

“I’m talking not just for myself, but for my millions of young female fans who are the most active consumers of entertainment news,”

“We demand that celebrities earn their place amongst our nation’s entertainment elite, rather than have it handed to them on a silver platter. The sense of entitlement that Beck and Posh display frankly disgusts me.”

“What kind of a lesson are we teaching our young women by treating Posh like she’s done something just for marrying a hottie soccer player,”

“If she does something important, like flash her cooch at a Hollywood club or land a reality show on E! or cause an accident on Robertson Avenue, then of course she’s an important story for journalists to cover. But right now, it’s like she’s famous just for being famous. Every time I look at her, I weep for the state of American culture.”

OK so i highlighted a few things that i thought were wrong with this interview. First of all. Paris is only famous because her family owned hotels and were mega rich. Its not like she actually did anything great with her life.(she also got famous by releasing her sex tape and going to jail.)

And the last part of interview is a really bad impression of what Paris thinks is setting a good example.  Who in the right mind thinks that young American girls should be taught to flash their stuff at nightclubs or be involved in car crashes?

Its not that i like Bosh and Pecks. But i do think they set a better example to young girls then lets say Paris.  Almost like the pot calling the kettle black as the saying goes.
