Even David Beckham’s got a blog
Blogs and celebrities are everywhere nowadays, and David Beckham is no different and neither is his blog. The British footballer only recently started his own website, now that he’s in the States maybe he thinks he’s gunna have more time. What with Victoria shopping all the time and trying to get star status over there. David’s going to be left home alone alot of the time.
His site and blog which was started on the 13th of July is the Official David Beckham website(Obviously as he is the official David Beckham!)
In his first and only blog entry to date David says:
“Hi everybody,
Thanks for joining me on davidbeckham.com – it does seem incredible that in all my time playing professional football, I haven’t had my own website.
So here it is at last……”
He thanks his fans and friends in Spain for the time he spent with them. But what about us British fans of football that supported him when he started? What about all the people who prayed for his leg in England? Don’t we count David?
He didn’t mention us once! Not once!
He does however still call the sport football and not soccer (It is football as you kick the ball around. Unlike American football where the ball is carried almost everywhere and rarely kicked.)
He goes on to say he’s genuinely excited about raising the profile of football as well in the States. Or is he just excited about the endorsements it will bring?
It doesn’t matter really as he’s there now and even has time to blog. Which is something he didn;t have the time for before he left the UK or before he left Madrid.
Anyone interested in keeping up to date with the latest in David Beckham news should check out the Official David Beckham website for more info. Although he doesn’t appear to update it regularly. Maybe that will change over the coming months. Lets hope so, or thats just another blog started that will be never be finished. (And god knows theres enough of them!)
