Eternity Puzzle It’s one of the most eagerly anticipated games and appears on Woolworths Top Ten Must Have Game’s list.  Eternity II will be available on the 28th July 2007 with a massive £1 million (US$2 million) prize offer.

The media launch event will take place on the 27th July at the Hamley toy shop on Regent Street in London. Busty glamour model Lucy Pinder will be there with Eternity and Eternity II inventor Christopher Monckton who used to be an aide for Margaret Thatcher.

What is Eternity / Eternity II and how do I win?
The Eternity puzzle is a geometric puzzle and consists of filling a large almost regular do-decagon (a twelve sided polygon) with 209 smaller irregularly shaped smaller polygons. The first correct solution sent in wins the prize money.

Eternity II which consists of 256 square pieces that are bordered by coloured patterns which must be correctly aligned to find a solution. It’s the follow up to Eternity which became a craze for thousands of people across the globe 8 years ago when it was launched. A cheque for £1 million was awarded to Cambridge mathematician students Alex Selby and Oliver Riordan, who successfully solved the puzzle in just eighteen months.

Eternity creator Christopher Monckton said:

“Anyone of any age or academic ability could solve Eternity II - it could be a 5 year old or a 90 year old grandmother. The buzz has already started amongst the thousands of people that tried their hand at Eternity I and are raring to go at Eternity II. I think we will see a lot of people using the Internet to collaborate together to try and share the US$2 million!!”

So you think you got what it takes? It won’t be easy.
