Girls Aloud & Spice Girls Duet?

A duet between the Spice Girls and Girls Aloud may happen according to Champion Newspapers.

The paper managed to get an exclusive interview with Girls Aloud member Kimberley Walsh, and she certainly thinks the idea is worth looking into. The Girls Aloud singer said:

“Ooh that would be interesting. Yeah, that would be quite funny actually. Who knows?”

As the original girl power group has reformed, the paper asked whether Girls Aloud were feeling intimidated by the Spice Girls’ return. Kimberley Walsh replied:

“We are doing really well at the minute so we don’t feel threatened at all. They were amazing and I think it will just be good fun to see them back together.”

The next Girls Aloud album will hit the shops in November which squashes any rumours of the girls splitting up for now. Cheryl Cole said:

“The new album is out in November, so no, we’re not splitting up. The new single is also out in September. It’s fantastic, but I’m going to keep my mouth shut. It’s good, put it that way.”
