The Lohan battle continues, More mudslinging

With a troubled daughter like Lindsay Lohan who is in and out of rehab like a delivery truck. You’d think that her parents Dina and Michael Lohan would curb their criticsm of each other. but instead they just embrace it and go full throttle into the arguments.

The argument of the moment is based around alcohol and cocaine.

Michael admitted that back in the eighties when it was cool to party and take drugs. Both were involved in taking cocaine and getting wasted on alcohol.  But now that Michael is clean and sober since getting out of jail. He blames Dina for the way Lindsay has turned out.(He’s not the only one. Many others have blamed Dina for pushing Lindsay into stardom for the fame she(Dina)couldn’t get herself).

He’s even put a guarantee on the fact that if Dina doesn’t stop drinking in front of Lindsay, She will fall apart again.(Can he see the future?)

He told a New York Court:

“I do not believe Dina should be drinking in front of our daughter. If she continues to do this, I guarantee Lindsay will fall apart again.

Back when Dina and I met in the Eighties, everyone was partying and using cocaine. I am now clean and sober. I submit to drug and alcohol testing three times a week, because I am on parole and because I now work as a drug counsellor with teenagers. I am willing to be tested by the court all day, every day of the week. I know I will come up clean. But when my lawyers sat with Dina’s lawyers, and said I was willing to be tested, she said she was reluctant to be tested.”  

Dina however doesn’t have so much to say on the subject. In fact theres no reports of anything she’s said regarding the matter. (maybe its just Michael that wants the attention?)

Don’t be fooled though. Michael is no angel.  He served two prison sentences for contempt of court, driving without a license and attempted assault. So he’s not as innocent as what he thinks he is.

I think the real question here is. What is this divorce and mudslinging doing to poor Lindsay? She has her own problems which seem to go undetected by her own parents whilst they enjoy the battles of court.  Her mother cares so much that it took her almost a week to visit Lindsay whilst in rehab.

I wouldn’t say it was Dina’s fault solely. In my opinion.(And it is just my opinion.) The way the family act towards each other, the fighting,arguing and trying to place on each other is what did the most damage to Lindsay. Everyone is telling her to face her problems. Maybe its about time her parents did the same.
