Posh getting paid £70000 to be in Ugly Betty

At the end of last month we wrote how Victoria Beckham was planning to appear in the US tv show ‘Ugly Betty’.  We also wrote how NBC had cut her tv series to just one hour long due there not been enough footage to make a series.   Now if thats what producers think of her, then what are we the viewers supposed to think?

Not alot. Even less when we found out that she was going to get paid £70000 just to appear as herself in the show. Up until now i actually liked the show. But adding her to it won’t make it any better.

It’s all Eric Mabius’s fault and really we should tell him. He invited Posh to the show when he met her in London and thought she would be perfect for the show. More like the show would be perfect for her. As she really doesn’t have a lot to offer, she can’t act,sing or be entertaining. Hell she doesn’t even smile. And she needs help getting at least a small fanbase in the States.

A source close to Posh revealed:

 “Victoria has been thinking about it for a while after Eric suggested it. He had made no secret of wanting her to appear on the show because she is such a fashion icon, and that is what the show is all about.

“She epitomizes what Mode, the magazine in the show, is all about. It is about trendy, slim people who are into high fashion.

“She was particular about not launching herself as an actress because she is aware that she isn’t one. That’s why she wants to play herself, so she doesn’t have to act.

“It is an ideal job for her because she is moving to the States and is trying to build up her megastar status over there, so the part will certainly not do her any harm.”

Yep certainly sounds like Posh is trying anything she can to be liked over there.  Ugly Betty is her way in it seems. But will it work?

With her tv series cut short to just 1 hour long, and nobody else really interested in her. This oculd be Victoria’s last chance.  Otherwise she’s gunna end up at home with the kids all day long whilst David is out and about chatting to Playmates from Hugh Hefners mansion. Or other equally beautiful models that float around LA.(Or he might be playing football).

Maybe its time to just face it Victoria, you’ve got no talent!
