Charlie SheenHollywood actor Charlie Sheen is getting married for the 3rd time.  The ‘Two and a half men’ star popped the question to his real estate investor girlfriend Brooke Mueller, whom Charlie has been seeing for a year.

Charlie Sheen went down on bended knee on a Costa Rican beach with a £250,000 ($500,000) engagement ring in-tow.

Charlie is no stranger to the confinements of marriage, the star married Donna Peele in 1995 but it only lasted a year. Then he met and married Denise Richards in 2002, whom he has two daughters, Sam J and Lola Rose. Charlie and Denise’s marriage did better but ended after three-years.

Charlie Sheen and ex-wife Denise have seemed to call a truce, as Brooke Mueller was spotted out and about with Denise and their children.

Maybe Charlie should wait a little while, his relationships don’t seem to last that long. Charlie Sheen accidentally shot his then fiancee Kelly Preston in the arm back in 1990, and Denise Richards claimed in her divorce papers that Charlie’s behaviour was making their marriage impossible, and that she feared not only for her safety, but also the safety of their children.
