Burberry drops Kate Moss

Kate Moss dumped her troubled rocker boyfriend Pete Doherty for cheating on her with a youger model called Lindy.

To rub salt in Kate’s wounds, the model herself has been dropped not only by Agent Provocateur, but by Burberry as-well, just a few days after her £500,000 Agent Provocateur contract ended for models 10 years younger.

Agent Provocateur co-owner Serena Rees told the Daily Mail newspaper :

“Our current campaign with Kate comes to an end in August and we’ve already chosen our new face. It’s top-secret but she’s quite different. She’s not sexy in an overt way.”

The new models for Burberry, Agyness Deyn aged 21, and Lily Donaldson aged 20 will feature in a series of ads along with up-and-coming indie bands including The View and The Paddingtons.

The Sun reports that Kate makes around £30million from fronting ad campaigns for trendy brands and her Burberry contract is believed to be worth around £1million alone. 

According to close friends of Kate, the model will  be concentrating on getting a plan together to regain her famous figure back.  It looks like Kate might have to make an effort in her career to get it back on track.
