Emma Watson laughing all the way to the bank

As we all know the Harry Potter series is worth mega bucks. It’s not only author J.K Rowling raking in the profits. Young actress Emma Watson who famously plays as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films has reportedly earned approx 2 million pounds.

Contact Music quoted Emma admitting that if she wanted, she wold never have to work again.

“Let’s be honest, I have enough money never to have to work again, but I would never want that.”

Emma was just 10 years old when she auditioned for the part as Hermione and was pleasantly surprised when the Harry Potter franchise made her so wealthy. Emma didn’t take the decision to sign up for all the films lightly as she said:

“People underestimate what a big decision this was for me. This is the next three or four years of my life. Being in the spotlight and the lack of freedom are the sort of things that held me back.”

Emma sometimes feels that she has missed out on some areas of her childhood. Contact Music quoted the young actress saying:

“One of the things about being a teenager is you just do what you want, dye your hair funny colours, experiment and do crazy things. “I’m not able to do that in quite the same way that my friends are.”

Emma hectic schedule hasn’t let anytime in for love right now as she says: “I’ll just have to wait. Maybe someone will find me.”
