Prosecutors down-under (Australia) has dropped all charges against a celebrity photographer who was accused of planting listening devices outside Nicole Kidman’s mansion in Sydney.
The celebrity photographer Jamie Fawcett aged 46, was charged in January 2005 after he was allegedly seen planting the bug near a pavement outside Nicole’s home.
The Oscar winning actress filed a restraining order against Jamie Fawcett and other celebrity photographer Ben McDonald.
The Australian prosecutors stayed tight lipped when it came to a reason as to why the charges have been dropped. Outside court Jamie Fawcett told press:
“It was a very narrow investigation that once again targeted the photographers at a scene and I felt that was perhaps unfair. In fact, I don’t have any opinion whatsoever about Miss Kidman, other than to wish her all the best. The situation is that I am often asked about the feud between Miss Kidman and myself. There is none, there never has been.”
