50 Cent caught lip-synching at BET Awards

It looks like 50 Cent pulled a Britney at the BET Awards earlier this week. MediaTakeout.com reports that the American rappers performance certainly stood out from this rest, but not for the right reasons.

The online site tells us that the gangster rapper had problems from the get go. 50 cent real name Curtis Jackson was lip-synching OK in the chorus to the song ‘Amusement Park’ but when it came to the verse the problems began, as DJ Whoo Kid played the instrumental version in error.

A source tells mediatakeout.com, :The whole thing was so embarrassing. To get caught like that in front of millions of people is almost unimaginable.”

A rather red-faced 50 walked around the stage while he waited for his team to sort things out. Childhood friend and G-Unit member Tony Yayo did his best to rescue the situation, but sadly for 50, all Tony did was shout profanities into the crowd.

When 50’s record was finally sorted, the gangster rapper did all he could to pull back the crowd and give a great performance but it was not meant to be. A very embarrassed 50 then cut short the rest of his performance but made sure to get in the words “Vitamin Water” at the end.

An audience member said: “No one in the audience really knew what was going on. It just seemed like 50 cut the performance short. But now that I know he was lip syncing, I think it’s hilarious.”
