Will MySpace miss Lily Allen?
It seems that newspapers and magazines across the globe have upset ‘Smile’ singer Lily Allen. But was it all her own doing? She’s picked fights with just everyone thats better looking than she is through her MySpace blog. (A sign of insecurity?).
But now its all to end it seems. Or at least cut down a lot. She says she’s had enough of been a celebrity. The blog was titled “Fu*k You Fu*k You” and reads:
“I’m not going to write here so often now,”
“This used to be one of my favourite things to do. I could come on here and vent how I feel honestly and get feedback from you guys. But the tabloid fucks have ruined it. Everything I write here gets twisted and rewritten buy a bunch of lazy fucks who haven’t got anything better to write about. And the truth is, I don’t want to be in their fucking stupid magazines and daily fuck rags. In fact, I hate it. I don’t want to be a celebrity. I am a singer. I write songs. Thats it. I don’t sleep and take drugs with famous people (I have a boyfriend I’ve been with for nearly three years ), I don’t go to film premieres. I don’t go shopping in the paparazzi hotspots, so please leave me alone.
Obviously the simplest option would be to put her blog on private. But maybe that didn’t occur to her. Instead she decided to have a hissy fit . Never mind Lily.
Some Fans of Lily don’t mind the stopping of blogging as long as she keeps releasing good music. Others don’t understand what the problem is.
So will Lily Allen stop blogging but continue singing? Or will she fade away and in two years time nobody will remember her?
As for having nothing better to write about. Maybe she was right. We only write about her when the real celebrities aren’t doing anything interesting.
