Parisexposed.com, credit card and names of members were visible

Imagine that. Just the other day we suggested not signing up to Parisexposed.com as it was going against a federal injunction. But it seems that an injunction wasn’t the worst thing to worry about with the site.

TheSmokingGun.com had a reader of theirs report to them that it was easy to to view over 750 subscribers to the website. Not just who they were. But what their credit card numbers were. Their email addresses,passwords and everything else asked for on the sign up form.

TSG have 6 screenshots of peoples names addresses,cc numbers and everything else mentioned above. How’d they get them? Well it seems it was simple, all they had to do was change a few letters in the url bar when it came to the sign up page and bang. They were in.

So if you did for some reason sign up to parisexposed.com within the last two weeks. You may want to make sure that no identify theft occurs as a result of this as its currently unknown how many people saw the uncensored records.

The information belonged to over 750 users across the world. Most were from the States.

The problem is fixed now. But there shouldn’t have been a problem in the first place.
