Rod Stewart finally marries Penny Lancaster
Waspy voiced singer Rod Stewart has married his lover Penny Lancaster last weekend on a yacht just off the Italian Riviera resort of Portofino.
The couple have been together for 8 years and have an 19 month old son. It will be the third marriage for the 62 year old crooner.
Rod told his guests, “It wasn’t love at first sight but it has grown into the most wonderful romance of my life.”
Rod and Penny’s 20 minute ceremony was watched by only 2 witnesses Sally and Graham, Penny’s parents.
There were just two celebrity guests among Rod and Penny’s friends and family, singer Michael Bolton and Celtic boss Gordon Strachan.
Rod Stewart will start his UK tour next week, so they’ll have to keep their honeymoon short and sweet.
