Is Hollywood destroying the stars?

Mostly having involvement with Hollywood is a good thing. The fame,fortune and never ending partying all seem great. But spend a moment to think about where alot of the stars are ending up. Rehab mostly, Jail in Paris Hilton’s case and divorce for Britney.

This kind of behaviour isn’t just limited to the stars who are in the news constantly.  But happens alot to young actresses/actors, In fact performers of all kinds can be dragged into the downward spiral.

But Why is it happening?

It seems as if its a trend to do these things. And with recent media coverage of such events its hardly surprising that stars are behaving like they are. Some people could say the media is to blame. Others will be happy to blame the stars themselves.

Is Hollywood to blame? The pressures of fame and fortune? Unlikely as there are many stars who manage to stay out of trouble and still stay famous.

Jon Bon Jovi commented on Hollywood recently saying:

 ”The thing is, I hate it in Hollywood. Look at what the world of Hollywood is doing to our young kids. There’s Lindsay Lohan - gorgeous girl and pretty decent actress too , but she needs to get out and go anywhere else in the world but Hollywood. Britney too.

“They need to get the hell out of that town. When I go there, I just do my business and run.”

Maybe the singer speaks alot of sense. Head into Hollywood for work. Live somewhere else.

But as we said. It seems that because these people stay in the media for doing stupid things, they just continue to do stupid things. Is that the role models we want for our children? Unlikely.
