Lindsay Lohan loses fashion contract

Its all going down hill for Lindsay Lohan at the moment.  Just how fast she goes down hill depends on her i guess. But bad news is attracted to LinLo like flies attracted to sh*t right now. The latest bit of bad news been that her contract to be the face of a fashion label has been canceled.

The Japanese branch of Jill Stuart  that was backing the campaign are said to be furious with her recent behaviour and ending up in rehab like she has done.

“The Japanese licensee paid for it, and they wanted to pull the plug. The day Lindsay appeared on the front page of the newspaper crashed out in the front seat of the SUV, the Japanese told Ron Curtis (Jill Stuart’s CEO) they no longer wanted to be involved. And they are the ones who financed the campaign.” 

The international campaign however will still go ahead. So it might just be Japan that dropped her.

Ron Curtis commented:

“The ads are running as planned, and we have the utmost support for Lindsay and her rehabilitation, and she is doing great. They will also appear in all of the major lifestyle fashion magazines for fall in Asia and the U.S.”

So Lindsay has only lost a portion of her contract. Japan is a huge market though so maybe she lost quite a percentage.  Not as bad as everybody ditching Paris i guess.
