Courtney Love chooses Kurt Lookalike

Outspoken artist Courtney Love is getting prepared for her ‘Nobody’s Daughter’ tour which will start later on this year. Courtney is also recruiting for new band members. The contraversal singer admits in an entry on her blog that she hired one of the guys because of his uncanny resemblance to her dead husband Kurt Cobain.

“I really hired him ‘cos he looks so much like Kurt. It’s weird, and he can play really well. He didn’t kill me but he swore if I gave him a week he’d learn everything. He’s blonde and soooooooo beautiful and his guitar playing is great.”
Courtney adds, “The other is a guy from band called Larrakin Love. His guitar playing blew me away because it’s just so f**king Modern. It’s Johnny Greenwood and Jack White and now and he’s not stuck in any nineties rut.”

Courtney joked earlier this week that she would love to have Drew McConnell from the Babyshambles with her band.
“He’s committed, he’s very loyal, he’s a Scorpio. He’s committed to his Pete Doherty thing. I played with him  the other night, we had really good chemistry and it’s totally on him - it’s four shows, he needs to decide. My door is open to Drew any day.”

Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins will appear on the ‘Nobody’s Daughter’ album which Courtney brags is her best work.”This is my best record. Corgan’s on it from the Pumpkins, and Linda Perry - who out of my record got the Green Day record. That’s a scoop - I just gave that away with my big mouth.”
