Is Paris Hilton being over punished?

Her attorney Mr Richard Hutton thinks she is.  Now before you start thinking,”How the fuck is Paris being over punished?”  He does actually have a theory behind it. And it does involve her celebrity status.

As we know Paris is currently in solitary confinement for her own safety. So yes she is safe from anyone who may want to harm her. But she is also all alone for 23 hours a day. Something which Miss Hilton does find hard to get used to.

He says:

“If she was an ordinary citizen she would have been placed in the general population… She’d be living in a dorm with 30, 40, 50 other women and the time would pass pretty quick,”
“She is really being punished because of her celebrity status.”

Now what if she was released into general population, and some inmate who just doesn’t like her happens to hurt her? Would her attorney be happy then? I doubt it.  Or maybe he just simply didnt think of that.  Although i would love to see her go into general population. I am not been paid to look after her best interests. Unlike Mr Hutton.
