David Beckham apologizes to fans and LA Galaxy

David Beckham has apologized to his fans and to his team this week. The apology comes after many fans and news outlets felt the need to put him down for not playing even though he has an injury.

For a guy thats been paid $125 million to play soccer over in the states. He hasn’t actually played a full game. The reason been he’s been suffering with an injured ankle.

So to put fans to rest, David made an apology to all who have bought tickets to his matches saying:

”I’d love to be out there on the field, especially with the number of fans here and the fact they’ve paid a lot of money to see the Galaxy. But I have to be careful with my injury. I’m here for five years and maybe more, so that’s where people maybe have to be slightly patient.”

In other words. Don’t expect to be among the first to see David actually play for LA Galaxy. Because no one really knows when that will be. But be grateful he’s there playing soccer.

He also might be saying “Don’t bother wasting any more of your money on my matches. Wait until you’ve seen me play a few games. Then buy your tickets to watch La Galaxy play.”
