Amy Winehouse to leave the music world?
Amy Winehouse has spoken to The Sun newspaper about her future plans. Which don’t seem to include making music anymore. She recently played to an audience which included Sir Elton John. Sir Elton described Amy Winehouse as ‘an incredible performer’ and the worlds best female singer. Quite a compliment if ever there was one for Amy.
Almost maybe too much of a compliment as now Amy Winehouse plans to move away from the music industry and settle down with her now husband Blake Fielder-Civil, Who she married just the other week.
She told The Sun :
“I don’t want to be ungrateful. I know I’m talented but I wasn’t put here to sing. I was put here to be a wife and a mum and look after my family.
“I’ve always been a homemaker. I love what I do but that’s not where it begins and ends.”
“I’m a caretaker and I want to enjoy myself and spend time with my husband. It doesn’t even feel weird saying it now.
“I had never felt the way I feel about him with anyone in my life.”
So that could be it? No more rehab songs from Amy. Surely the couple have enough cash saved up so they can enjoy the rest of their lives living semi normal lives.
Or maybe she will be back if her marriage to Blake breaks up. Hopefully she will have a happy future raising kids and looking after her man.
