Keira Knightley set to play Princess Diana

Beautiful British actress Keira Knightley is being wined and dined by movie bosses as they want her to star as the late Princess Diana of Wales.

The film will be based around the controversial book ‘Diana And The Paparazzi‘ which tells the remarkable story of the Princess who died in Paris 1999 aged just 36.

The book has started a multi-million pound bidding war. An insider at Paramount studios tells British tabloid paper ‘The Sun’

“It’s an incredible story - Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid meets Snow White!
It was deemed as inappropriate at the time of Diana’s death but is proving irresistible following ‘The Queens’ massive success”

It certainly caught the eye of film produce Quentin Reynolds who also has been bidding for the rights. He said

“Already the word in Hollywood is ‘get Knightley!’. It’s a story that has everything: pathos, tragedy, comedy, adventure…and Princess Diana. For every pound The Queen makes, a film about Diana will make ten.”

It will certainly be worth a look. I personally think that Keira would be a fantastic Diana. What do you think?
