Results of UK Baftas 2007

For the first time ever, the award did NOT go to a soap. It was BBC1’s hospital drama Casualty that won ‘Best Continuing Drama.’

Ian Bleasdale who plays Josh Griffiths in the winning drama collected the award and had this to say
“To the doctors, nurses and ambulance crews….thank you for doing what you do.”

Camp comedian Graham Norton hosted the event and was driven to the ceremony in the Life Of Mars Ford Cortina by the shows actor Philip Glenister who plays detective Gene Hunt.
