Oops as Britney caught lip-synching

Britney Spears, 25, blushes on stage during a set at the House of Blues in Orlando on Saturday night.

The troubled star was singing song “Do Something” and looked absolutely mortified as the pre-recorded CD skipped continuously which exposed her lip-synching a ‘live’ performance.

As technicians raced on stage to fix the problem, the singer looked away from the disgruntled crowd.

This appearance is part of a series of 15 minute concerts which have seen Britney perform live for the first time in three years under the pseudonym M+Ms.

An audience member told The Sun “Britney looked horrified when it started skipping and turned her back to the audience. She tried to carry on but some of the crowd started booing. Eventually the track became unstuck and Britney carried on like a pro.”

Despite the technical hitch, Britney was smiling as she started to perform once more.

Britney wrapped up the set with ‘Toxic’ and had these words for the audience ‘I love you, Orlando. Thank you so much for being here. You’re awesome. I love you!’
