Britney causes chaos at church service.

Between Britney Spears, Private armed security and paparazzi. A normally quiet church turned into something that more resembled a Hollywood blockbuster.

Everything was fine when pop princess Britney Spears entered the Presbyterian church in Bel Air. The church was peaceful and Britney was reflecting on her time in rehab (Britney Spears Rehab) as she had just finished a stint at Promises Clinic and undoubtably getting her affairs in order.  It all started when Britney left the service with her private security staff.

As Britney Left the church she became terrified at what she saw.  She had stepped out into madness, Her minder had his gun drawn and aimed directly at a photographer that was just trying to get a photo of Britney.

As the minder had his gun drawn he shouted at the photographer, ” Get out of your car, and get down”. And of course when someone has a gun pointed at you. Normally its wise to do as your asked.  The minder promptly handcuffed him and arrested the ‘offender’.  The pap was accused of trying to run down a traffic officer, as there was an officer stood in the street redirecting traffic.

The Daily mail quoted Mile Hooper, the Executive of the Church as saying:

“One photographer was on the wrong side of the road and tried to run over an officer who had stopped traffic. He kept coming and one of our guards pulled a gun out. I cannot speak for the security officer, but he does not regret it. This is a church, not a concert,”

Good point Mike, Its not a concert. So why was the officer redirecting traffic? Was it because Britney was at the church? Was it seen as OK for an armed man to scare the general public outside a church? A place where they are supposed to feel safe.

A witness seems to think it was Britney Spears Related. Because they say when Britney’s 4×4 came round the corner, officers stopped the traffic for her to get through.   If its not a concert Mike. Then why should Britney get special treatment?

The pap that was arrested for allegedly trying to run over an officer was released later that day.

Was it just a case of an over enthusiastic  officer wanting to flex his muscles? Who knows but it certainly scared Britney.
