Paris Hilton gets a bad reception in Austria.

Earlier this year Paris Hilton was invited to the Vienna Ball and Britney was Snubbed for the same ball.

She arrived in Austria earlier this week but not without troubles. Before the star could enter the country she was detained at Munich for her passport been out of date. She had to wait at Munich until the US Ambassador for Austria could vouch for her.  However Paris didn’t seem phased by the ordeal.

The ball was held last night (15-02-07) and Paris escorted Richard Lugner as his guest. Some reports say Paris seemed bored by the occasion as shes more used to partying then an Opera Ball.

Earlier in the day before she attended the ball. Paris was on stage in a mall in Vienna , when unimpressed on lookers threw lipsticks, cigarette packets and other rubbish at the hotel heiress.
Before been whisked away by her secuirty team  Paris shouted “Hello everybody, Its good to see you.Happy late Valentines Day”
