
Sony Have Discovered Another Defect In One OF Their Products. This Time The Cybershot Digital Camera.
The Liquid Crystal Screen Of The Cybershot Cameras Has A Defect With The Image Sensor Causing The Screen To Not Display Images Properly. Sony Have Said That Repairs Would Be Done Free Of Charge To Any Camera That Has Already Got The Problem.
Sony Wont Say How Many Cameras They Think It Has Affected.
The Defect Affects Cybershot Cameras Bought Between September 2003 And January 2005.
The Defect Is In Models :  DSC-F88, DSC-M1, DSC-T1, DSC-T11, DSC-T3, DSC-T33, DSC-U40 and DSC-U50.

This Comes Just After Sony Had To Recall 10 Million Rechageable Batteries For Laptops Which Held Fears They Could Overheat And Explode.
Not A Good Year For The Electronics Giant.
