A List Of Reasons How People Lose Data Has Been Released. In No Particular Order Here They Are.

• A University Sprayed a Desktop PC With WD-40 In Hopes It Would Make The Squeak Go Away. Squeak Went, So did Data.
• An Already Damaged Harddrive Was Sent To Ontrack In A Pair Of Socks. The Socks Caused More Damage To The Data.
• Laptop Dropped From Helicopter.(WTF!!)
• Laptop Damaged By Leaking Shampoo Bottle.
• Several Laptops Had Been Runover.
• Banana Left On Top Of External Harddrive. Allowing Its Juices To Seep Through And Damage The Circuitry.

 

All Of Said Devices Had Been Sent To Ontrack Data Recovering Company To See IF They Stood A Chance.  These Are Lucky People Because Their Data Was Recovered By Ontrack.

Data Loss Can Be Catastrophic At TimeS With So Many Personal Details Gone Forever.Pictures, Music, Videos,Site Info, ETC.

Regular Backups OF Your Data Can Be A Godsend Should Any Of These Wacky THings Happen To You . (Or Even a Normal HDD Failure.).
